PETONE S.M. COURT.
(Bofore Dr. M*Arthur, S.M.,' and :Richard Mothes, J.P.) Alexander Aitken was oharged with having on December 30, 1907, at Petono, used indecent language in a public place. Defendant was fined 205., Court costs 155., or in default 3 days' hard Inbour. John Barns was oharged with assault, and was con v ieted and ordered to pay 9s, Court costs, and witness's expenses, Bs. Robert Smith, for trespassing on tho Now Zealand Government railway line, was fined 65., with Court costs, 15s. Thomas 11. Barley, for allowing a horso to trespass on the New Zealand Government railway lino, was ordered to pay 7s. Court costs. Prohibition, orders were Granted against William J. Morrison and Thomas Whiting.
