SCHOLARSHIPS.

$ SUCCESSFUL WELLINGTON CANDIDATES. The following are the names of the candidates who have been recommended by the Wellington Board of Education for scholarships in Wellington province with tho number of marks they obtained in their respective classes. The Queen's and National Scholarships are each of the value of .CIO (with an additional allowance of .£3O if the successful candidate has to reside away from home), with a free place in a secondary school. The Board scholarships are of .the valuo of ,E5 each, with ft -C'4o allowance as .above. If a scholar resides at homo, but has to travel over three miles to school, his travelling expenses are paid.
