Me" (Liddle),- "Jiatli- ' Icon Mavourneen," arid Elgar's. famous patriotic ballad, " Land of Hope and Glory," will bo sung by Madame Butt for tho lirst, time in New Zealand, as innumerable requests lmve been received for its inclusion in the programme. It is interesting to" note that Madame Butt sang this song at Westminster Abbey at the Coronation of King Edward. Mr. Kennerley R'.unford will s;:ig two old Irish melodies, "Eva Toole", and " Trottin' to tho. Fair," arranged by Sir 1 Charles'Villicrs Stanford, " Land" .of-the • Almond Blossom," arranged by Maude : V. White,' and "The Sands ' of.' Deo" .(Clay) , and the duct, " Dear Love" of Mine," : from Nndeshda, with Madame Butt. Messrs. Carl ISarre and Frank Merrick will'again contribute to the programme, and' Mr. Arthur Godfrey, and Mr. J. Edward'Sykes will he .the. accompanists. Messrs. J. and N. Tait wish to draw particular attention to tho .means of gaining admission to ■;the Hall to-night, full particulars of which will be found in our announcement columns. WONDERLAND. : A good harvest of pennies entered the brazon niouth'j of the Pike's slot machines at Wonderland yesterday, and tho older attractions of that pleasant resort were largely patronised. This evening Professor Driscoll will perform his sensational wire-walking act. - ROYAL PICTURES. The Royal Pictures were exhibited again last night in His Majesty's, Theatre' to a thoroughly appreciative audience.- An entirely new programmo of varied views will bo shown this evening, and a children's mat- ' inee exhibition will he held at 2.30 p.m. A note'in the official report (just to hand) of the British Commissioner (Captain Percy ■Atltin) on t.liu New Zealand Exhibition refers to the building in the following terms:—"The ' back of the building showed a great expanse [ of corrugated iron.
