It was ' a very enjoyable social evening .that was arranged' on Wednesday for thoso, who attended tho" Conference of i Musicians;.- Tho. gathering was held in tho concert room of tho.Town Hall, and about fifty people were present, including tho visiting delegates and local musicians. Among those who' contributed items to tho evening's entertainment were Messrs. Prouse, A. Hill (who gave a violin solo), Maughan Barnett, Herr iloppo (violin solo), and songs were given by Mrs. Glover Eaton, Madame'Carlton, and Miss Caldow. . Among the guests were Mesdames Hislop, Parsons, and Hogben, and Misses Richmond (2), M'Donald, Medley, and Parsons.''
