Bush fifes continue along tho spurs of tho Tararuas (reports the ..Wairnrapa "Daily News"), and last night the hills appeared to be blazing from Fornside to Jliki Miki. Tho flames crept dowji.Tfrom tho Alaungaterore Valley, along tho lower foothills, to the flats at Belvedere.' Abovo Andorson's line a large quantity'of dead timber is burning, and it would be no difficult matter for tho firo to reach . Carterton's outskirts, should the wind chango.
