HOLIDAY ATTRACTIONS.
Numerous attractions offer for to-day's holiday. A fancy-dress carnival and' floral fete will be held at "Wonderland," where several other holiday attractions are provided. Tho Wellington Racing Club will hold its second day's races at Trenthum. Races will also be held at Foxton.. A carnival will take place at Worser Bay, which promises to be of a very interesting arid, entertaining nature. The Port Nicholson Yacht Club will hold its regatta in front of the Glasgow Wharf. . I Tho ferry boats will run to Seatoun, Day's Bay, and other harbour resorts. Special train arrangements are announced, and the liellevue Gardens and Mason's Gardens, near Lower Mutt, will doubtless have numerous visitors. A garden party and sale of work will be held in Mr. T. M'Ewan's garden, Island Bay. Riflo sl'ooting for Government prizes will take placo at Trentham. In the evening the Pollard Juvenile Company will give a performance in tho Opera House, Montgomery's Pictures will occupy the Town Hall, and the "Royal" Pictures Wis Majesty's Theatre. Messrs. Puller and Sous will provide entertainment in the Theatro Royal, and a benefit concert is to be held in the Druids' Il'nll. "Wonderland" will bo specially illuminated for tho occasion.
