MIRAMAR SEASIDE CARNIVAL.
If the weather is favourable, tho carnival at Worser Bay to-day should bo a very popular outing. A varied programmo has boon arranged by the committee, and numerous entries liavo been received for the various-con-tests. Tliero. will be foot, swimming, and yacht races, and side shows. Ono great spectacle will bo tho submarine explosion. A dead fish collecting competition will be a sequel to the explosion, and as fish am plentiful at the Bay just now, this event should provide n good deal of amusement. There will to races lor the children on tho sands, and hot, water will bo provided for picnickers. Arrangements have been made for spo.cdv services of tram and ferry. Mrs. Crawford (Mayoress) will press tho button for Iho submarine explosion at 3 o'clock.
A special tramcar will leave the Town Hall for Iviu-ori to-morrow evening after Madamo Clam Butt's concert.
