The action of China in defiantly disregarding Japan's protests against tho proposed Hsm-min-ting-Fakumen railway is causing surpriso and indignation in Tokio. Japan mado protests, tho last ono just prior to China signing au agreement with a British syndicate for the construction of tho railway.. . . / : .
Tho other day the Tokio newspaper "Ivokuminshmbun" complained of the Chinese attitude towards Japan, and hinted that, unless outstanding questions aro,arranged, Japan will bo forced to mobilise 700,000 men.
