Rose Robinson, a fashionably attired woman of thirty years, was chargcrl at tho Police Court with fraud, namely, impersonating tho Countess of Cottenham (neo Lady Rose Ncvill, daughter of tho first Marquis of Aborcavenny). Tho Countess testified that Robinson had masqueraded in hor nnmo in Melbourne, and that sho had been annoyed for years by Australians calling who claimed acquaintance with hor. Sho believed Robinson was onco a Mrs. Cottenham, but had divorced hor husband.
