Ruahino farmers (says ourvFeilding correspondent) hro delighted with the season. So far they liavo not been adversely affected bv tho dry weather. Good grass es plentiful, and they havo been ablo to carry out their shearing and harvesting operations without hin'drauco from the weather. Tho scarcity" of . labour has been a bit awkward, and tho advent of settlers without children to replace departed families with children will affect tho local school considerably. '
