There was a quiet wedding at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church on Saturday morning, when Miss "Ada Harper daughter' of tho Ilev.' W. Harper, of Edinburgh', was married to Dr. T. A. Macgibbon, of Hawera, son of Mr. T. Mac Gibbon, of Mataura.. T.lie ceremony ivus performed'by tho Rev. J. Gib-, son Smith. Tho bride woro a oharniiiig, frock of white silk eolienno, with a veil aiid wreath of orango blossom and ivhito heather, and she carried a bouquet of waterjilies, stephanotis, and maidenhair. Miss Eva Mac Gibbon,' sister of tho bridegroom, who acted as bridesmaid, wore a frock of cream- voile, with a cream plumod picturo hat, and carried a bouquet of pale pink roses. The Rov. -Laurence Thompson, of Carterton, was best man. After tho ceremony the wedding' party adjourned to -Melbourne House, Cuba; Street, where tho wedding- breakfast was' Weld, The bouquets were supplied by Miss Murray, of Willis Street, who also undertook the table decorations. ■" Madame Clara Butt has accepted the invitation of the Victoria League to a gardenparty, to be held' in her honour, at Lady. Ward's" residence on Friday afternoon. -
