'Under the Russo-Japanese , Treaty, 1805, Russia agreed to transfer to' Japan, with the consent of China, tho railway from ChangChuen to Port Arthur and nil its branches. Later a convention with China was signed) confirming the transfer and regulating commercial and railway interests in Manchuria.
