' Rev, Dr. Gibb and Mrs, Gibb leave Wellington for London early next month. During Dr. Gibb's absence, tho pulpit at St. John's Presbyterian Church will bo occupied by several well-knowh New Zealand and Australian Prosbytorian ministers, among them being tho Revs. A. Horrax, for some time a prominent member of tho Karori Hockey Club, has been presented by Maw-members of tho Club with a handsome dressing-case. Mr. Horrax is proceeding to Edinburgh to pursue lu'a studios in modicine, aiid will bo much missed by tho Club during the coming season, as bo was one of its most enthusiastic players. Tho Snark on December 26, tho voyage having boon made fiom San Francisco calling at Honolulu on route. On reaching Papeete, Mr. London was recalled to San Francisco on urgent private business, and The Snark remains in the Tahitian group, till Sir. London's roturn in the Mariposa from . the Californian port. Then the yacht will loavo for tho Cook Islands, Samoa and Tonga, thence to Sydney, Melbourne, and Tasmania, afterwards coming to New Zealand, calling at the Bluff and tho usual ports up to Auckland,
