4 SOUTH AUSTRALIAN GRAPES, (nr TEi-EcuXrir—mess association) , Duneriin, January 17. interviewed by a " Star" representative to-day, Sir Joseph Ward said ho had to bo ! in AVellington on January 28, to meet Mr. Hall-Jones, who, ho was advised, was sufficiently recovered to enable him to take up work straight away. Regulations were now being framed, said tho Premier, with a view to tho admission of South Australian grapes under the altered tariff of Id, per lb. imposed lrist session. Only South Australian grapes would ho admitted, that was tho only State free from ; phylloxera. Sir Joseph'was unable to say whether the regulations! would be altered in time to permit tho .importation of South Australian grapes this season, which was now fairly under way.
