Waldegrave, Under-Secretary for Justice, with- Mrs. Waldegrave, left yesterday on a visit to Groat Britain. Yesterday morning a - number of Mr. Waldcgravo's friends in the Service met to say good-bye to him. The Solicitor-General (Dr. Fitchett), who presided, spoke of Mr. Waldegravo's connection with the Civil Service. The relations between Mr. Waldegrave and other heads of Departments were of tho happiest description, and all were glad that after thirty years' faithful service he had been granted tho opportunity of re-visiting the Old Country. On behalf of Mr. Waldegravo's many friends in the Service, he wished him bon voyage. Several other gentlemen also spoko of Mr. Waldegrave in complimentary terms.
