FEATHERSTON.

The wedding was celebrated at Feathorston on Wednesdny afternoon of Mr. William Joseph M'Guiro, third son: of Mr. John M'Guire, of Now South Wiles, and Miss Agnes Baron, daughter of Mr. John Baron, of Mangamaire. The bride was given awav by hor sister, Mrs. Sterling, and wore a oronio voilo dress, trimmed with chiffon lace with veil and shower bouquet. Miss Jessie Mail was. bridesmaid. Mr. E. J. M'Guire, brother of the. bridegroom, best- man. Tho Rev. T. J. Smith performed tho ceremony in St. John's Church. A reception was held at the residence of Mrs. W. Barton. A special meeting of the Town Board was held on Wednesday evening, when Thursday was appointed the weekly "half-holiday. At tho monthly, meeting, held after, it was decided that tho Board visit the head water works on Saturday, and decide upon improvements. Mr. J. W. Fcllingham's resignation as pound keeper was accepted. The dog registration fees were fixed at tho same as last year. The matter of erecting swimming baths was referred to the Chamber of Commerce. - A satisfactory sanitary report for tho quarter was received from the inspector. Tho Works Committee, and Water ■Inspector's reports were adopted. Mr. M. J. H. Jackson presented the Board with a Perry Rifle 45 years old/ which was accepted with thanks. ' ''
