The Mir.imar Borough Council met; yesterday, tho Mayor (Mr. C. J. Crawford) presiding. Councillors M'Leod, Brodio, and Witt wero pro-wit. Only urgent business was transacted. The Mayor was appointed the Council's delegate for tho election of members of the Wellington Harbour Board, nnd for tlio conference to fix the weekly half-holiday for Wellington nnd suburbs. The dog registration fee for 1903 was fixed at ss. Accounts totalling % Jld. wore passed for .payment,
