THE ATTRACTIONS OF FRUIT.
Recently an article was published in The Dominion in which reference was made to tho fact that difficulty had been found in securing workers for tho orchards and, factories of Frimloy (Hastings) and Messrs. Ivirkpatrick (Nelson); and wo predicted that tho announcement of these attractive vacancies in The Dominion would necessitate the ongaging of additional clerks to reply to the surplus applicants. Wo aro not yet aWaro what has sinco happened about tho clorks, but wo know that The Dominion oflico was invaded for some time afterwards by persons who wished to know where to apply for tho vacant situations. ,
