Mr. E. M. Eyan, who has been physical in. structor of the Y.M.C.A. for three years,, and chairman of the physical work committee ofthe Boys' Department, received presentation! from the lads at a crowded meeting held lasi ovoning, prior to his departure for America to receive a three years' course of training in tho Y.M.C.A. institution at Springfield, Massaoliusßotts. Mr. J. G. W. Aitken, M.P., addressed tho gathering, after which' Honij Phillips, on behalf of the Jioys' Department, presented Mr. Eyan with a travelling bag, and W. Wilson presented him with a souvenir from tho boys' cricket team. Mr. Ryan will leave on Tuesday next to catch tbo Vancouvcl boat. Tho members of the Y.M.C.A. football team took farewell yesterday of Mr. J. 11. Storr, who Itavos to-diy, via Sydney and England, for Springfield, Massaehussotls, where he wil enter upon a three years' course of training u tho Y.M.C.A. institution. '
