REDUCTION TO BE ASKED FOR. A meeting of 'the Flaxmillers' Association ' is to be held at Palmerston North shortly s (telegraphs our Manawatu correspondent), < to appoint a deputation to approach tho Mill- ' ist-or for Labour with regard to tho injury < boing dono to millers by the recent Arbitration Court award fixing the rate of wages in an industry that deals only with ail export trade. In a majority of trades a ven- c dor is in a position to raise tho price of s goods according to markot prices. This the s flaxmillers cannot-do, as prices for hemp are s ruled by the manila aiid sisal fibre, both of i which are produoed by cheap labour. J
