W. .Gallon took six wickets for ono run, and Ticchurst four; for three.' At ono period of tho innings eight wiokots wero down for one run, a bye. This is the lowost score made in sonior cricket m tho Wairarapa; and probably in tho Dominion.. -Carterton made 160, and _Masterton B in tlio second innings made 47.' Carroll took fivo for six'runs and W. Gallon four for five, for Carterton. THE. WEDNESDAY ASSOCIATION. A meeting of delegates of the Wednesday Crickot Association was held at the New Zcalahdcr Hotel last evening, Mr. J. Wcybonrue occupying the chair. Mr.'J. Wcybourne, who managed the Wednesday team which visitqd Christcliiirch f-ccontly, mentioned a scheme which Mid.been brought under his notice in tho South',- which aimed at arranging interprovincial matches. Tho conduct of the team was exemplary, and the Southern Association treated tho visiting team with.the groatest kindness; It was decided to write to the Canterbury Association - thanking it for tho kind . treatment meted out to the Wellington loam. It was also rasplvcd to place on record the assistance rendered to the Wellington team. It was decided that thero should bo no Wednesday cricket on Anniversary Day, January 22. ' Tho annual cricket match between tho stall's of tho Public Works and Roads Oepartinents will bo played at Day's Bay to-day. ■
