WIRELESS TELEPHONE.

The Danish wireless inventor, If. Valdcniar Poulson, is busily engaged in the completion at Lyngby,: five injles from Copenhagen, of a wireless telephone station, which is to bo connected with tho wireless station at Esbjerg. '.'lt is my fixed intention," lie said, "ultimately to establish ,a wireless telephone between England and Denmark (Esbjcrg;. "But the will not be able to telephono or telegraph by my wireless inventions until every detail has been completed and stations havo been established all over tho world. Whilo every day brings furthoi- progress and experience, we do. hot wish to begin wireless telegraphing and telephoning between Denmark and England or America until wo are quite able to compete with the present cables. ~

" My. system of wireless telographv, bv using 'undamped' waves, can now forward'," M. Poulson claimed, "at least seven times as manv words as jr. Marconi's system of sparks, anil my system otberwiso is reliable and sufo."

When I'oulscu lectured at the Queen's Hall last November ho showed that his "undamped" waves produce vibrations so rapid as to compare with thoso of a tuning fork, as contrasted with the "explosions" of the ordinary wireless system.
