MASTERTON A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
MONTHLY MEETING. A monthly meeting of the Masterton A. ,nid P. Association was held on Saturday. Mr. J. D. Cruickshank, president of the Association! ocoupied the chair, and there was a large attendance of members. It was dccidcd to accept tho services of tho Masterton branch of tho St. John Anibulanco Association for the two days of tho forthcoming show, and to make a donation of two guineas towards tho funds of tho Associatioh.
Tho report of the Finance Comniitteo showed a debit balanco <jf £538 18s. 7d. It was decided that a list of outstanding amounts, bo compiled and presented at a special meeting to bo held on Saturday, January 25. Accounts amounting to £15 10s. 4d. woro passed for payment; With reference to gate passes and "tickcts, it was decided to confirm tho recommendation of tho Finance Comniitteo that passes for stock and attendants l>o issued under tlio samo system as at the Manawatu show; tho gato and grandstand tickets after tho stylo
in vogne at Wangamii; and luncheon tickets as at tho last year's 'show. It was decided that no passes bo issued at tho main gates. Tho President reported that tho judges' list was now complete, with tho exception of four expected replies from tho Canterbury district.
It was decided, subject to tho approval of tho Wairarapa A. and P. Association, that tho entry chargo for flock rams at tho ram fair bo reduced to Is. per head, instead of 2s. as first intended;-stud rams and show sheen >uuunain at 3s. jasi head.
