The Rev, Macdonald Aspland, arid, afterwards,the Rev. A. Dowoy, presided. A sub-committee presented tho programme drawn up in'.connection: with-the visit, of the New Zealand Prosidont, tho Rev.'J. T. Pinfold/ of. Itangiora. Mr. Piiifold's visit will be timed to follow,, by about a week, that of tho Rov. Charles Inwood, of England, who has beeti invited to this city by the Council of-Ghnrchos, and is expected to arrive .towards tho end of February. It was proposed that on tho Saturday during Mr. Pinfold's stay-a o'amp meeting should bo held at' Day's- Bay, to be preceded by a tea in the Pavilion.' Tho Central' Mission' Band should bo invited. ' On the Sunday Mr. Pinfold should occupy two of the important' ovahgclical'pulpits of _tho city, and'on tho 'Monday evening a- united consecration service should bo held: in the Vivian Street Baptist Church, at which an address-should bo given by .'the visitor. Tho arrangements were confirmed. ■ The report a of the Look-out arid Seamen's Committeos ' showed that good work • had been done during tho month. Therdport of the General Superintendent was'very satisfactory,, It stated, inter alia,: that tho Wobb Street Primitive Mothodist Society was vory, much improved'in various ways. ' Tho Anglican seniors had started a junior society at Blenheim. 1 The reports wero all adopted. In accordance with notice of motion givon at last meeting,' Mrs. Eggers moved; and Mrs. Keith Given seconded, a proposition that a Tenth Legion be formed in connection with tho Onion, the members of - which'should pledge thcmsolven to give at least a. tenth of-their incomo to God. The motion was adoptod ; iind Mrs. Eggers was appointed to act"as interim organiser. Mr.,L; J.
