. NEW SHAREHOLDERS AND MORE CAPITAL; BT IEI.EGIIArH--PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. London, January 9. i " The Times " Company's capital has boon increased by £200,000. Tho shareholders include Lords Brassey, Rothschild, and Strathcona, Viscount Iveagh, and Sir Alexander Henderson.
Lords Iveagh (formerly Mr. Guinness) and Strathcona (High Commissioner for Canada) are Conservatives. Lord .Brassey, the' naval and economic writer, is a Liberal. Karon Rothschild (Nathan Mayer do Rothschild, I'.C.) is a Liberal-Unionist. Lords Strathcona and Brassey. support the All Red Route. Sir Alexander Henderson, who was created a baronet in 1902, is a Liberal-Unionist, and— like the business manager, Mr. C. A. Pearson— a member of the Tariff Commission, lie is chairman of tho Great Central Railway.
