These are made in ■ a variety of' colours, cool-looking blues'and, greys, in reds .and mingled colours. Wo have very handsome Asminster stair carpets at prices from T Gsr to~ 12sr 6d.- per ysru:- . - ' LINOLEUMS; Our stock of linoleums is as artistic and varied as our ; carpet stock. The virtues of tho inlaid tile pattern , are well known. These do not show dvist. marks,- and tlioy wear evonly till tho last, becauso' each colour is stamped! right"through' to tho back. They are more expensive than tho painted linoleums, but are much more artistic, and in their durability well worth tho extra money. Other Hnoleums .in which the colour is stamped right through aro the- Oriental ones, and the parquetry. The Oriental aro made in lae rich colours, and the designs Turkey, carpets, and would do admirably for or diningrooms. These we can supply at ss. 6d. and (is. 6d. a square yard." " Tliero aro also linoleums in very handsome Art designs at 4s. 3d.'," ssl 6d., and 6s. Gd, per square yard. Then wo have inlaid linoleums in a sort ofsoftened effect, not clearly cut liko. tho familiar tile designs. And a'new line is tho plain matting effect in a cheaper linoleum, which wo stock in red, cream, and green. • The latest idea in linoleums is the parquetry flooring. These are in imitation of oak parquetry flooring, really an admirable imitation.. They aro specially adapted for halls and dining-i-ooras, but in a drawmgroom, with an Oriental carpet square in tho centre, they would look very effective, and would 6et off tho rich colours of tho carpet. ■ Yet another linoleum-like floor covering is tho corlc carpet,, which is most suitable for bedrooms, as it is not cold to tho feet like ordinary- linoleum; and, as a matter of fact, it is made of somo preparation of cork. Tlio. plain cork carpet, in shades of grcein and red, and dark blue, is very suitable for offices, especially if there were a carpet squaro in tho centre. Wo- have this plain at 3s. 3d,, 4s. 3d., and ss. 3d. per yard, and in art designs at 4s. per yard. CURTAU3. If you want curtains, you probably want, casement curtains, as thoso aro more used now. than anything else, quaint and pretty little curtains hanging from top to bottom of tjie window pano. We have a very good range of casement cloths. Wo havo -plain silky cloth, a double width material of 52in. width, at ss. 3d. a yard.- Stencilled cream cloth, of the same width, from 2s. 9d. to ss. 9d. a yard. Holland casement, in grass green, art blue, and self colour, at 4s. a yard. Then we have Madras curtains, plain, tasselled, and frilled, from Is. 6d. to 4s. 6d. per yard.
