LABOUR REPRESENTATION COMMITTEE.

A meeting .of the Labour Representation Committee was hold last evening in the Irades HaU. Over ninety members wcro present. So far, it was reported, thirty bodies had affiliated. The chief business of the ovemng was tho receiving of credentials from tlio various bodies. Among the inwards correspondence was n long lettor from Mr. J. Koir Hardic, advising tho committee to get together on a common platform and to work unitedly to the ond that tho Labour oloment might bo represented in Parliament. Tho latter ivas applauded, and it was decided .to thank tho writer for his good wishes. Considerable discussion was given to the pledgo to bo signed by the nominated candidates, and eventually the meeting decided to adopt a pledgo similar to that of the Labour party in Australia. At tho noxt meeting of tho committee an election of officers will bo held.
