Mr. A. R. Mayo, the: well-known nursery* man at Aorangi, m..conversation - with' .our Manawatu representative,- said that there are great possibilities for any energetic manin the Feilding district who will latinch out., ill fruit-growing. He-particularly referred to the suitability of the ■ Aorangi. soil for fruit, and said if overy man ? in Aorangi devoted his time to fruit-growing instead of to: the drudgery of dairying he would find his-, bank balanco improve.
