Ho had interviewed leading players hero and there, and there was small doubt that professional football had come to stay, despito tho fact that tho llugby Union monopolised tho best grounds. Tho professional " Blacks " on tli'eir return would give now life to the movemont, anil in Auckland it would bo worked for all it was worth. Intercolonial matches would bo played, and it was hoped a Now Zealand professional team would visit Sydnoy next season.
