WAIRARAPA FRUIT PROSPECTS.
• It has already beeii announced'(writes our Wairarapa correspondent),- that, the Department of Agriculture intends to make a more systematic inspection than formerly' of all orchards in tho several, districts; Inspection has already beon of a thorough character in Manawatu and Hawke's Bay, but very little has yet been done in the AVairarapa, owing to.the fact/that there.is not a great deal of fruit growing done 1 in these counties. In the orchards that .exist, however, there is overy probability-that .the; yields this season will constitute a rocord.
