An enormous crowd assembled on the Queen Street Wharf late Inst night to witness tho berthing of the steamer jjokoia, in anticipation of catching a glimpse of Clara Butt, who, it bad hce.n announced, was a passenger. The crush was so great that it was practically impossible for those people having business on board (lie steamer to make their way through. As tho steamer came lip to the wharf, the wooden barricade at the end of the outer lee was pushed down, and the mob simply had it all their awn way, and took possession of the tee. ]n tho scramble, several ladies, who were present in large numbers, had their dresses and finery badly damaged. Clara liui.t was not nboard, and so the majority went home disappointed.
