Douniorgtio, hitherto Ministor for Commcrco and Industry, has boon appointed Minister for Public Instruction, M. Cruppi bccomes Minister for Jnstico; There was a vacancy in the French Cabinet through the recent sudden death, from heart disease, of M. Guyot-Dessaigne, Minister for Jnstico, and doputy for Clermont-Ferrand. M. Jean Cruppi, Republican Radical, doputy for Garonne, was born in 1855, and became a deputy in 18D8. In 1906 ho was elected VicePresident of tho Chamber. Tho change in tho portfolio of M/ Briand, who has had the handling of the' Church question, may have some significance. .
