POULTRY EXPORT COMPETITION.
Mr. D. D. Hyde,, Chief Poultry Expert,will visit Auckland at the' end of the month to judgo the competitive exhibits of poultry prepared for'the London market, for whiclv an Auckland committee lias arranged,to give prizes. Entries for tlie competition will be: rcceivcd from February 1 to 12, so . that"'Mr. Hyde will bo away for' several ; weeks.. No second judging • will take place when the birds'reach London, as was at first proposed,' but arrangements will be made by Mr. Hyde for an expert to inspect and "report, on them at London, according to. the English standards. .
