LINOLEUMS. Our'stock of linoleums is as artistic and varied as:our carpet stock. Tho virtues 'of tho inlaid tile,-pattern; :aro .well known. These do not show dust marks, and tliey wear evenly till the last, becauso each colour is stamped right through to the back. They aro moro expensive than>'tho painted linoleums, but aro much more' artistic, and in their durability well worth the. extra money. Other 'linoleums, in which the colour is stamped right through are tho Oriental ones, and the, parquetry. The Oriental are mado in lue rich colours, and tho designs .Turkey carpots, and would 'do admirably for smoking-rooms or diningrooms. These we can supply at Bs. Gd. and ' 6s. Gd. a square yard. ■Thero are also linoleums in very handsome Art designs, at 4s. 3d., ss. Gd., and 6s. 6d. per squai'i yard.... Then we havo inlaid linoleums in a sort of softened efTect, not clearly cut like tho familiar. trio designs. And a new lino is tho plain matting effect in a cheaper linoleum, which we stock in red, cream, and jpeen. The latest idea in linoleums .is tho parquotry flooring. These aro in imitation of oak-parquetry flooring, really an admirnblo imitation. Tliey aro specially adaptod for halls and dining-rooms, but in a drawingroom, with an Oriental carpet square in the centre, they would look very, effective, and would set off tho rich. colours of tho carpet. Yet another linoleum-liko floor covering is the cork carpet, which is most suitable for bedrooms, as it is not cold to tho feet like ordinary linoleum, and, as a matter of fact, it is made of somo. preparation, of cork. The plain cork carpet, in shades of green and red, and dark blue, is very suitable for offices, especially if there were a carpet square in tho centre. We havo this plain at 3s. 3d., 4s. 3d., and ss. 3d. per yard, and in art designs at 4s. per yard. CURTAI..3. j •If you want curtains, you probably want-1 casement curtains, as those aro more used now than anything else, quaint and pretty littlo curtains hanging from top to bottom, of tho window pane. We havo a very good-j range of casement cloths. We havo plain silky cloth, a doublo width material of 52in. width, at ss. 3d. a yard. Stencilled cream cloth, of tho same width, ' from 2s. 9d, to ss. od. a yard. Holland case- . ment, in grass green, art blue, and self colour, at 4s. a yard.
