. (by teleghaph—press association.) New . Plymouth, January 2. North Taranaki easily defeated tlio New South Wales Teachers' team by 130 to 60 on the first iniiings. In tlio second venture Tarailaki declared the innings closed at 05 for :six wickets, and tho visitors followed with 76 for four wickets, when stumps wore drawn.
The visitors were taken on a trip to Mounl Egmonfc. on New Year's Day.
