In connection with tho disagreement al . tho Donniston coal niino over tho bank-to-' bank conditions, it ;may probably have becjn remarked that the Granity minors have \ocepted the situation.' whereas the Denniston •minors have not dono so. Mr. Albort Hooker, of Millerton, who is connected with ">' the Granity Miners' Union, to remove anywrong conclusions that'may. arise, explains'':* that the Granity miners wore not working .'■'■ under an award; their award having expired about three years previously, and a now agrcomont not having beon' substituted.
