Chancellor Tristram, K.C., Chancellor of tho Dioooso of London, has granted a faculty for tho opening of the grave of tho late T. C. Druco, but refused leavo for Gcorgo Hoi-, lamby Druco or his solicitor to be present, ns that was unnecessary, bccauso a doctor of tho Homo Offico would bo entirely responsiblo for tho oxhumation. Herbert Druco did not opposo the motion for tho opening of tho grave. (Rec. Dec. 29, 4.40 p.m.) London, December 23. Mr. Statham, Hollamby Druco's counsel, stated before Chancellor Tristram that tho oponing of tho vault was absolutely immaterial to tho main issuo in Druco's action against Lord Howard Do Walden, which did not turn on tho question of tho. alleged mock burial, but on tho fact whether the fifth Duke of Portland married Elizabeth Crickner, and whether the marriago was valid, both boing undor age. Hollamby Druco claimed that ho descended from that marriago. Whether tho Duko of Portland was subsequently guilty of eccentricities and indulged , in a mock funeral did not affect tho quostion. Hollamby Druco and Mr. T. K. Cockburn, his solicitor, would liko to be present at tho opening of tho vault, though ho would bo represented by a medical man and a surveyor. Herbert Druoo would bo similarly represented. Dr. Tristram thought Hollamby Druco's presence would bo unnecessary, sinco ho would bo represented. Tho " Daily Mail" states that tho opening of Druco's gravo takes place on Monday.
