London, November 14. ; While tho Guildhall banquet in. honour of the Kaiser's visit was going on a meeting of "unomploycxl' 1 was held on Tower Hill to protest against' tho entertainment of tho German Emperor. The ohiof speaker was Mr. Jack Williams, :who dcclarod that, until property was endangered, society,, would not listen to them.. A resolution condemning . "the lavish entertainment of tho despotic' . and reactionary Kaiser" was adopted. At the close of the demonstration somo 600 or 600 of the demonstrators lined up in , procession and marched in tho roadwuy westwards. They were persuaded to proceed on thepath, and so travelled to tho junction of Queen Victoria Street and Cannon Street. Here they expressed a strong desiro to march down Cannon Street towards St. Paul's, though tho prescribed routo was through Queen Victoria' Street to the Embankment. 'A serious scuffle with'the police ensued, and ' ; bo threatening did things look that messages ' woro sent to all tho principal stations in tho vicinity, and all the men available at Bridewell, Cloak Lane- Snow Hill, and Moor

It does not. appear that any serious injuries, apart from a few bruises, were inflicted.
