Tho bowling tournament took place to-day (Thursday) on the Marton Green, ton rink's competing. Tho green was in good order, biit tho strong wind was against good bowling.. The J'almerston team, skipped by B. A. Nash, won four rounds and secured goldmedals. The players in this rink-were: Aitken, l'oung, Scott, and Nash (s.). These bowlers will represent Palmerston at the Auckland tournament. The runners-np were players skipped.by Smith, of Palmorston.
