MR. O'BRIEN REJOINS. BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPIRIGDT, (Roc. Dec. 25, 10.56 a.m.) London, December 24. Tho Redmond and tho O'Brien sections of tho Nationalist qiarty havo ro-imitcd. They agree that, whilo they will ceaselessly strivo for Homo Rulo, they will endeavour to securo practical amelioration from tho English parties. ■ Nationalist nowspapers-: aro nctivoly discussing tho question whether or not tho Right Hon. A. Birrell,' Chief Secretary for Ireland, should bo given another chanco. Mr. O'Brien and Mr. Timothy Hcaly havo for some time held aloof from tho Nationalist party, as led by ,Mr. Jon'n Redmond. Mr. O'Brien's action in rejoining is not altogether unexpected, as feelers havo been thrown out considerably of late. Tho note of unity soundcil in Cardinal Logue'e address some little timo ago was hailed as a sign of the coming event. Tho Sinn J?oin propaganda may also bo driving tho' Irish Nationalists together. '
