SPIRITUALIST SOCIETY
The Wellington Spiritualists' Society, through.its president (Mr. William M'Lcan), has for some months past been in communication with Mr. J. D. Barrett (President of the Notional Spiritualists' Association, Washington, U.S.A.) with a viow to securing the services of a medium to visit New Zealand. Mr. Barrett recommended Mrs. Georgia Gladys Cooloy, ono of tho best-known mental mediums in America, whose gift of psychic insight is said to bo very wonderful. Negotiations for a visit woro completed some timo ago, and the medium will arrive.in Wellington on Tuesday next. One of Mrs. Cooley's specialties is character reading, in which her control is one "Red Vox." It is claimed that without in any way coming in contact with persons or their possessions; sho is able, from tho stage, to give a clear character reading of anyone that chooses to go through the ordeal by standing up.
