A GERMAN CLAIM. BY TELEGRAM—ritESS ASSOCIATION—COrrniaiIT. Berlin, Decembor 20. Germany has agreed to submit to arbitration tho dispute between tho Portuguese Government hnd. Princo Hohenloho in connection ' with a proposed sanatorium 'at Madeira, in tho North Atlantic. A German syndicate, with Prince Hohenlohe as president, obtained a concession to build, a sanatorium undor conditions which would liavo given 'it'practical control of tho island.' As l a result of agitation by British business men in Madeira, tho concession was cancelled. ■ ■ Tho syndicate has now claimed damages for the cancellation.
