MIRAMAR BOROUGH COUNCIL.
/.The Miramar Borough Council .met last evening. Present: —Mr. C. J. Crawford (Mayor), Councillors N. W. Bell, H. N. MlLeod, and A. G. Ease. The financial report, which was adopted, showed a credit'balance of £369 Is. 11a. on the. Tramway Loan Account arid a. credit balance of £218-7s. 7d. on the District Fund Account. A resolution was passed declaring Argyll Avenue, Edinburgh Avenue, Norfolk Avenue, and Devonshire Road to bo public streets. / An amendment of the building by-law was adopted, removing the prohibition of building upon less than quarter-acre sections, .providing that the land intended to'be occupied together with the building as a separate holding has a frontage of not less than 40ft., and contains at least one-eighth of an acre.
