BUILDING SOCIETY.
Tho annual meeting of the City and Suburban Building Society was hold last evening. Mr. G. Luk'd presided, and there was an attendance of twenty members. Tho balance-sheets (which have already been "publlslifftiy : \vero' adopted. The retiring directors, Messrs. 11. T. Brittain and T/ H. Hustwiek, and the auditor, Mr. D. A. S. Cowpcr, were re-olccted. An appropriation by ballot for the sum of £300 as a lo&n froe of interest was then held, the money filling to Mr. Henry Barraclough.
