SCHOOL CADETS.
(IIY TF.LEOIUFB—PHEBS ASSOCIATION.) Duncdin, Decembor 17. At a meeting of tho Education Hoard today a communication was received from tho Wellington Board stating that the latter had passed resolutions that the public schools cadets should bos under the jurisdiction of tho Education Hoards, and that tho Government should subsidise Boards on that account to tho'oxtent necessary; also that the Education Department should appoint an inspecting officer; that other bodies be asked to co-operate in this direction; and that the cadet regulations be revised to meet this change. It was resolved to Bupport the action of; the Wellington Board.
