LIBERALISM AND LABOUR.
POSITION IN THE COMMONS. BT TELEGRAPH—PBESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. London, December 17. It is,expected that fifteen members of the Houso of Commons, representing tho Miners' Federation, will , secede from tho Liberals, and will voto with tho Labour party. Tbo following membors of tho House of Commons are woll-known miners' leaders, and attended the recont conference of tho Miners' Federation:—Messrs. T. Glover (member for St. Helens), F. Hall (Normanton), W. Abraham (South Wales), J. Wadsworth (Hallamshiro), T. Richards (West Monmoutb), J. Williams .(Glamorganshire), Wm. Bruce (Glamorganshire), J. . Ilaslam '(Derbyshire), and A. Stanley (N.W. Staffordshire). ■ ' • The relations between tho Miners' Federation and tho Labour Representation Committee have been drawing closer, as the result of tho following resolution passed at the conference :— "That the timo is now opportune for tho ifinore' Federation of Great Britain to become affiliated with tho Labour Representation Committee for Parliamentary representation, and that another ballot of membore of the Federation be taken upon the question."
