—__ ■ The Management'•'Committee of the N.Z.tt.U. met last night, Mr. Q. Dixon presiding. It was resolved to inform the Auckland Union" that it was the'opinion of the committee that, under Clause 7 of tho Itanfurly Shield regulations, the not proceeds from any special challenge match wero the property of the N.Z.it.U. Subsequently, it was agreed to request tho Auckland' Union to forward the balance of the proceeds in connection With the Buller-Auckland and Hawke's Bay-Auckland niiitchos. It was resolved to place on record the committee's deep regret lit his untimely deatlij and forward a: suitable' letter to''his relatives.' Tho mover,"Mr; G..
