Hot. W. A. Evans (chairman) said tho information would be treated as confidential, and it was required by the Government. Ho moved: That Dr. Valintine's application for ■ tabulated information be granted." . Mr; Hogg moved as an amendment: "That, in the opinion of the Trustees, the stops proposed to bo taken by Dr. Valintinc are unnecessary." ■ Tho voting oil tho motion and amendment wore equal, and the 1 motion was earned on tho casting vote of the chairman.
