Note by our travelling correspondent, written from the neighbourhood of Kohi, in Waitotara:—"The weather was very hot, roads very dusty, horse and ridor very thirsty. The former quenched his thirst at numerous streamlets on tho road, hut the latter took to lemon drinks;, mado from fresh- lemons. In every garden the troes were simply loaded with the yellow beauties. In some gardens oranges are growing, but they do not attain the perfection which lemons acquire."
