Dr. Truby King,has been prime mover in the project, hut has received valuable assistance from the Society. The Minister said that, after having heon to tho Homo and judged of the. liabilities incurred, he thought tho Government would havo to "assist the Society in tho work it had. undertaken. After roforring to the absolute necessity for such Homes, Mr. Miliar said ho would do what, ho could to induce his colleagues to assist in tho undertaking.
